Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept Medicaid or dental insurance?
Yes. Inova Dental Clinic accepts Medicaid and most major dental insurance plans. When you call or come in, we can verify your coverage and explain your benefits so there are no surprises at checkout.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring a photo ID, your insurance card, and any completed new-patient forms if you filled them out in advance. Arrive a few minutes early and let us know if you have any allergies, medical conditions, or medications — it helps Dr. Jafari tailor your care from the start.
How do I book an appointment?
You can call us at (703) 433-1400 during office hours (Mon–Fri 8am–5pm, Sat 8am–12pm by appointment), or book online any time. Same-day emergency slots are available — just call first thing in the morning.
Do you see children?
We welcome patients ages two and older. Starting dental visits early sets kids up for a lifetime of healthy habits, and Dr. Jafari is patient and gentle with young patients who may be nervous about the chair.
Is Farsi spoken at the office?
Yes. Dr. Jafari and team members speak both Farsi (Persian) and English. If you or a family member feel more comfortable discussing your care in Farsi, please let us know when you call.
What are your hours?
We’re open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Saturday morning appointments (8am–12pm) are available by appointment — a real option if weekday visits are hard to fit in. We’re closed Sundays.
